The Continuing Education for Licensed Customs Brokers regulation will go into effect on January 1, 2025, requiring individual licensed brokers to earn continuing education credits.
CBP has partnered with Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg to develop and implement accreditation standards for the Customs Broker Continuing Education (CE) program.
If you are a course provider seeking accreditation, you may now submit your activity to ST&R for review.
-
Here’s how it works

- If approved, you will receive a Unique Identifier code to share with your attendees that is valid for 1 calendar year from the approval date. Attendees will use this code to submit to CBP as part of their triennial report.
- If more information is needed, we will contact you to clarify, and you will have 10 business days to respond.
